Terms & Conditions.

By accessing or using WeddConnect (the "Platform"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Platform.

• These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and WeddConnect.
• These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, clients, and vendors who access or use the Platform in any capacity.
• If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Platform.
• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda, including applicable e-commerce and consumer protection regulations.

To access most features of WeddConnect, you must create an account. By registering, you agree to the following obligations:

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated at all times.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Platform.
• Each person may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts for any purpose is strictly prohibited.
• You must notify us immediately at info@weddconnect.com if you suspect any unauthorised access or security breach of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are inactive for more than 12 months.
• Account credentials may not be sold, transferred, or shared with any third party.

You agree to use WeddConnect only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

• Posting false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent content, including fake vendor listings or reviews.
• Impersonating any person, business, or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or organisation.
• Using the Platform to distribute spam, unsolicited communications, or malicious software.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, other user accounts, or our servers.
• Scraping, crawling, or systematically extracting data from the Platform without written permission.
• Using the Platform for any commercial purpose not explicitly authorised in these Terms.
• Uploading content that violates intellectual property rights, is sexually explicit, promotes violence, or is otherwise unlawful.
• Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with security features of the Platform.
• Engaging in any conduct that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Platform or its infrastructure.
• Permitted uses include: browsing vendor listings, submitting reviews, managing your subscription, contacting vendors, and using the Platform to plan wedding-related activities.

Vendors registered on WeddConnect are independent service providers. The following rules govern vendor conduct on the Platform:

• Vendors must provide accurate, honest, and up-to-date service descriptions, pricing information, and contact details.
• Vendors are solely responsible for the quality, delivery, and fulfilment of their advertised services.
• WeddConnect acts exclusively as a platform facilitator and marketplace and is not a party to any service agreement between vendors and clients.
• WeddConnect is not liable for any disputes, losses, damages, or dissatisfaction arising from vendor services.
• Vendors may not list services that are illegal, deceptive, or that violate any applicable Rwandan law or regulation.
• WeddConnect reserves the right to remove any vendor listing that violates these Terms or that receives multiple credible complaints from users.
• Vendors who are found to have submitted fraudulent reviews, engaged in misleading advertising, or abused the Platform will be permanently banned.

Access to certain Platform features requires a paid subscription. The following terms govern all subscription and payment activities:

• Subscription plans, pricing, and durations are displayed on the Platform and are subject to change with reasonable notice.
• All payments must be made through the official payment methods available on the Platform (MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, or card).
• Payments made outside the Platform are not recognised and will not activate any subscription benefits.
• Subscription activation is subject to manual verification and approval by WeddConnect administrators.
• Refunds are not automatically issued once a subscription is activated. Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of activation and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
• WeddConnect reserves the right to cancel a subscription without refund if the user is found to have violated these Terms.
• Transaction records, including payment proofs, may be reviewed by our team for fraud prevention purposes.

Users may submit reviews, ratings, comments, and other content on the Platform. By submitting content, you agree to the following:

• You grant WeddConnect a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and use your submitted content on the Platform.
• You are solely responsible for the content you submit. It must be truthful, respectful, and based on genuine first-hand experience.
• You must not submit reviews for vendors you have not personally engaged with.
• Fake, incentivised, or malicious reviews are strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.
• WeddConnect reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or community standards, without notice.
• You retain ownership of your original content, but acknowledge that WeddConnect may display it as long as your account remains active.

All intellectual property on WeddConnect is protected by Rwandan and international intellectual property laws.

• All content on the Platform including the WeddConnect name, logo, trademarks, interface design, text, graphics, and software is the exclusive property of WeddConnect.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any Platform content without prior written permission.
• Vendor images and content remain the property of respective vendors. Vendors grant WeddConnect a licence to display their content on the Platform.
• If you believe any content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us at info@weddconnect.com with full details.

WeddConnect provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any content on the Platform.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the Platform at all times.
• WeddConnect is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or vendor services.
• We are not responsible for any loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities resulting from Platform downtime or technical errors.
• Any reliance you place on vendor listings, reviews, or other Platform content is strictly at your own risk.
• Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid to WeddConnect in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Your privacy matters to us. Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

• By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
• We comply with the Law No. 058/2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and Privacy in Rwanda.
• You may view, update, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting info@weddconnect.com.

Either party may terminate the user relationship under the following conditions:

• You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Account deletion will be processed within 30 days.
• WeddConnect may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk.
• Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Any active subscription will be forfeited without refund if termination is due to a Terms violation.
• Sections on Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law survive termination of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Rwanda.

• Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through direct negotiation.
• If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of Rwanda.
• Nothing in this section prevents WeddConnect from seeking urgent interim relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
